"Camp WorldLight is the best!

My Acteens had another fantastic year at Camp WorldLight. It is the highlight of their year. They cannot wait to come back next year. They love the mission experiences and a time away to grow in their faith."

“My daughter just completed her 6th summer as a camper at Camp WorldLight. She loves to go and I think she would stay the whole summer if she could! One of the best things about Camp WorldLight is the staff; they really love the girls and made sure the girls know how much fun being a Christian can be. The same counselors and staff return year after year and the girls can't wait to see them. Lauren and her cousin accepted Christ at camp and were baptized when they returned home. She has learned that being a Christian means having fun in so many ways, like singing, playing in the mud, being a “camp reporter,” but she also realizes how many people there are in the world that still needs to hear about Jesus. She has gained self-confidence and I think the counselors are the greatest role models she has. She is an aspiring camp counselor!”

“I can't say enough about my daughter’s experience at camp this past week.  She had hurts that she had buried and questions about her life and why things have happened in our family. Her questions were answered when she was shown a new way to discover God's love by reading His word!! The staff at Camp WorldLight taught her that and lived it out in front of her all week. She wants to love others with God's love. The testimony of one of the counselors had a great impact so tell her to keep telling her story!! Words can't express my excitement and appreciation for all of the staff and got your service to Our Lord Jesus Christ!!"

"I have been attending camps my entire life. Every summer since I was little, I would get sent off to camp. I liked everything about camp. The games, activities, songs, and new friends was always fun. I looked forward to camp even though I wasn't attending the same one each year. It was always a new camp for a new summer. Before I knew it, camp started getting boring to me. It seemed like the same routine, until I went to Camp WorldLight. From that first day, I could tell that CampWorldLight was different from all the other camps I had attended. The counselors weren't just doing a job, they actually cared about each and every camper. I've noticed how they took the time to learn the Bible Study, instead of reading straight from a paper. When we had free time, we played games, instead of just sitting around and waiting for the next activity. There was never a dull moment and within that first day, Camp WorldLight became my absolute favorite place.

"I was bursting with excitement once I found out that I could go back to Camp WorldLight the next summer. I ended up going back every year after that. One summer, I had a counselor that was different from the rest. Through each and everything that we did at camp, I could tell she was giving her all for Christ. She went above and beyond in everything. She made sure that we had fun even at night when she read bedtime stories, tucked us in and prayed with us before we dozed off to sleep. She took every opportunity to tell us about God and His unconditional love for us. Because of her, I decided that I wanted to be a counselor. Not just a camp counselor, but a Camp WorldLight Counselor.

"When I was accepted to serve on staff at Camp WorldLight, it was a dream come true. My love for camp keeps growing every year. As the summers come and go, I constantly thank God for each new summer at Camp WorldLight. From being a camper to serving on staff, God's love is always shown throughout every aspect of Camp WorldLight. I am so blessed to be serving with an amazing group of women who give up their own summers to share God's love through Camp WorldLight."
